Pics from recent Workshops and Clubs

I've been a busy little bee with Stampin' Up Workshops and Monthly Clubs. Here are some of the fun projects ...
8x8 layout - I usually have a hard time coming up with more 'masculine' layouts but this one - I LOVE and it was fairly quick. It would be a perfect gift to give Dad for Fathers Day with a sweet photo.

8x8 layout - LOVE the pink and blue together. Once again, a perfect gift for Mother's Day with a sweet pic.

Coaster Frame

Super cute! I put 2 coasters together after covering them with DSP (Designer Series Paper), added lots of embellishments and a binding and there you go, a fold out frame.

Owl Card

We used the Sale-a-bration Paper Pack with stickers, Ribbon and Buttons along with the Owl Punch to create this adorable Birthday Card.

This one may not make it to the show...

I am in LOVE with this wall decor and it may not make it out the door to the Trunk Show. Notice how well it goes next to my photos on top of the tea cart - Delightful!! Be sure to check out The Friday Frills Design Team on Friday at ww.flairandfrillscreativity.blogspot.com. The theme is 'Let the celebration begin.' I submitted a layout for my daughters 1st birthday that I just finished (She'll be three next week - AAAaaah!) I'm a little behind on my scrappin' Anyway, Have a happy Monday. I'll add more TRUNK SHOW peeks as goodies are created. Smooches!

Life is fantastic, Amy

*** TRUNK SHOW ***

Hey There -

My fabulous friend Laura who owns ~Willow Creek~ has generously offered to hostess a Trunk Show this Saturday (April 2nd - My Birthday) with all of my artsy creations. I'm so stinkin' excited, I can hardly stand it!! I'll be there from Noon - 3:00. Be sure to stop by and see all of my fun stuff. Here's a sneak peek of things I'll be making...

Clipboards - This clipboard has been 'foo-foo'd'! Inspired by Teresa Collins and her blinged out clipboards. I added paper and pearls. Cute!! Laura was looking for a place to put her Monthly Events Calendar and I thought this would be perfect!!

Wall decor - I covered a wall plaque with paper and made some fabulous paper flowers and added lots of chunky glitter. Love it!!

I've made HUNDREDS of paper flowers but, sometimes you just need a little *re-vive* to things so, my flowers have been revived with a tip from my new blog friend, Tina at www.scrapdiva-tina.blogspot.com (check her out - her work is AMAZING!!!) She showed a project with flowers that she added a bunch of chunky glitter to and I fell in LOVE with the look of them. Thanks so much Tina!! Sometimes all you need is a little extra sparkle!!

Here's Laura and I at her 'Afternoon of Bliss' yesterday. She puts on the best events!! I made a big batch of Milk Bath an each guest scented their own bag with essential oils and herbs. It was delightful! She had a massage therapist giving chair massages, there was chocolate and champagne - What more could a girl ask for? Thanks Laura for a blissful afternoon!!

April Fool - Silly Mini Page for Friday Frills Design Team

Hey There -

Brynn is setting up a fabulous Design Team for inspiration every other Friday {{Friday Frills}}Check out http://www.flairandfrillscreativity.blogspot.com/. She's asked me to be on the team - FUN!!

For our 1st project Brynn asked us to make a little somethin' silly, since we'll begin our 1st {{Friday Frills}} on April Fool's Day. I made a cute little layout (of my little April Fool - Savannah) that's going on the fridge. Everytime I see this pic of my girl, I giggle. She's making the 'smooch lips' Like mother, Like daughter!

I love all of this bright and cheerful paper. I added strips and border punched the heck out of 'em and there you go! The stamp reads 'Smooches!' shocker, i know ;P
Have an amazing Friday! Smooches!!

MY PROJECT INFO:

For the St. Patty's Theme - I went Celtic and made a fabulous Green and Gold Mini Book inspired by an Irish Blessing and some delightful Fairies and Butterflies. I added different flowers, ribbon and a ton of shimmer (gold of course!) and there you go. I hope you're inspired by my creation. I'll be giving this sweet book away to 1 lucky hopper so they can put pics of the people who bless their life in it. Have fun hoppin'!

Smooches,
Amy

An Old Irish Blessing :
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall softly upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I made a big and beautiful flower out of newsprint paper and sponged it with gold ink, spritzed it with with shimmer and added gold wire tinsel underneath for added texture.

I love these sweet butterflies peeking out of the pattern of the paper. With a little fairie postage stamp placed next to them. Cute! Rosette embellishments add the perfect touch to this 6x6 page.

I love how the rosette turned out! It's burgundy satin adorned with a pearl. It's just the depth of color that this page needed. I love the border punching under the fairie pic. Pretty!

I kept these pages simple. I used the same border punch for uniformity and plenty of room for sweet pics or journaling.

More butterflies have come out to flutter around. Each of them having a little pearl between their wings. And another paper rose adorns the last page.

Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting!!

Coaster Boxes ...

Hey, Hey Blog Friends! Did you think I dropped off the face of the earth? Nah, just took a little trip to San Antonio Texas with my family to visit family. It was fabulous! I, of course packed a tote of crafty supplies with me and talked my Mom, Aunt and Cousin into getting crafty. It was so much fun! We made these cute little Coaster Boxes that are perfect for your desk or craft table, etc. I also did this project with my monthly Stampin' Divas group on Monday night and everyone's came out so stinkin' cute!! I love how you can personalize them to reflect your style. Enjoy!

Coasters are 4x4. You need 5 for the box and LOTS of beautiful paper and ribbon to embellish.

I sponged and shimmered EVERYTHING!! I'm a glitter girl, what can I say :)

Butterflies - Delightful!

I used twine and ribbon for additional texture.

This is my favorite side with the 2 step stamped roses and ruched ribbon.
Check out a card I made with the roses too...
I gilded it to give it a total vintage frame feel. Have and amazing week!
Smooches, Amy
